We are currently looking to add a Senior Solution Engineer with Biometrics solutions experience to our passionate and dedicated team. An exciting and innovative future awaits you within this Federal Team. As a part of this team, you will work on cutting edge biometric solutions, which are ideally suited to fortify safety and national security for US federal government. In this role, you will essentially be supporting the sales team to drive new business, engaging with customers, preparing for technology demonstrations, writing technical content for white papers and proposals, speaking at conferences and on panels.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Primarily provides pre-sales technical support for the development and implementation of complex products/applications/solutions. Uses product knowledge to provide technical expertise to sales staff and the customer through sales presentations and product demonstrations. Assists the sales staff in assessing potential application of company products to meet customer needs and may prepare detailed product specifications for the development and implementation of customer products/applications/solutions. May create detailed design and implementation specifications for complex products/applications/solutions. May build a mini-application based on customer requirements to demonstrate feasibility of the application, often requiring rapid prototyping and/or product demo for client. May provide consultation to prospective users and/or product capability assessment and validation. Works independently and receives minimal guidance. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Strong understanding of biometric technologies or a closely related computer science discipline that enables the individual to rapidly learn biometrics.  
  • Strong focus on facial recognition technology and the industrial marketplace.  
  • Highly functional and strong comfort level in front of customers.  Must be capable of interacting with customers and explaining technical details of various solutions to non-technical users.
  • Interest and ability to rapidly demonstrate and trouble shoot technologies.  Minor software development abilities preferred.
  • Positive attitude with an entrepreneurial spirit.
