Regional Account Manager - City and County Government/Public Safety

 

The Regional Account Manager is responsible for the overall management of predefined NEC core state territory for City and County government law enforcement agencies to sell NEC's various modalities of biometrics, such as fingerprint and facial recognition systems. Primary territory will be IL, IN, OH, PA.

 

If you have 3-5 years of sales experience, preferably in government technology or public safety, this could be the next step in your career.

 

You will continualy prospect in order to identify and contract net new prospects in order to meet predefined KPI’s and sales quota attainment for NEC's fingerprint and biometrics identity management tools. You will learn about NEC and our biometric government and public safety products (Facial Recognition and Finger Print capture) in order to provide webex and on-site demonstrations of products. In addition to sales / quota goal attainment, you will be responsible for market penetration in order to elevate NEC brand and name recognition through customer meetings, product demonstrations, attending state trade shows, coordinating and managing company sponsored technology outreach events, and identifying and managing potential business partner relationships.You will also coordinate with our strategic account managers.

 

Requirements:

• 3-5 years selling technology solutions to public safety and/or public sector
• Ability to engage and build relationships with all levels of an organization
• Ability to execute a solution sales process with opportunities -

a) Identify opportunity

b) understand agency needs, goals, vision

c) understand NEC products in order to explain fit, value and benefit

d) juxtapose NEC vs. competition

e) ability to think bigger and grow opportunity

f) know if it is a good deal or not
