Marketing Specialist Summary -

We are seeking an innovative, commercially driven Marketing Specialist to add to our growing Marketing team! In this role, you will be asked to lead the strategy and execution for tradeshows, conferences, and partnership events. This role also serves as our webinar series lead, aimed to keep our Channel Partners engaged and aware of the latest product releases, feature updates, sales tactics, and end user trainings. You will also collaborate closely with senior team members on campaigns to create brand awareness, drive demand, and generate leads with our client base and prospects. The right person for the role has a creative mind, great organization skills and a strong grasp of marketing and customer engagement tactics.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities -

  • 30% Works closely with marketing team and product marketing to support the development and execution of marketing plans and product launches. Executes online advertising campaigns for awareness building and lead generation, tracks the ROI for each campaign, and recommends improvements. Supports channel marketing recruitment and demand generation efforts.

  • 20% Plan and coordinate weekly/monthly webinar series, including sourcing of topics and presenters, speaker prep, and ongoing performance analysis. Conduct, gather and analyze market research to identify new opportunities.

  • 20% Organize and coordinate industry conferences including coordinating event logistics, booth design, event support materials, on-site support, and post event sales support.

  • 20% Manages content on website and search engine optimization effort. Works with agency partner to ensure top level User Experience and improve conversion metrics.

  • 10% Conduct market research to identify customer trends, competitor offerings and demographic data.

 

Prerequisites -

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or public relations.

  • Experience: Minimum of three years of marketing experience as a marketing practitioner in Cloud Services or Technology environment. Working knowledge of executing and managing marketing projects and events. Excellent time management, interpersonal, communications, decision-making and organization skills.

  • Certifications, Licenses, etc: None required.

 

Specialized Knowledge and Skills -

  • Language Skills: Requires strong written and oral communication skills.

  • Mathematical Skills: Requires fundamental accounting skills to manage detailed project budgets.

  • Reasoning Skills: Requires high level of communication and reasoning skills to encourage collaboration, design and execute marketing plans, and promote an effective corporate image.

               

Work Environment and Physical Demands -

  • General Work Environment: General office/remote.

  • Noise: Moderate noise level.

  • Standing/Lifting: Regularly required to sit and occasionally required to stand. Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. (exhibitions, tradeshows, presentations)

  • Visual: Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

  • Stress: Some stress may occur to obtain sales.

  • Travel: Some travel may be required.
