Sr. Salesforce Administrator is a new position we are seeking to fill as part of our initiative to expand our Salesforce ecosystem utilization in the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region. Working closely with the Global Salesforce Administration team based in North America, this position will support Salesforce users in EMEA region as the primary tier 1 support team member for all needs including but not limited to user training, adoption, support, and reporting. This position will be a key member supporting the implementation and utilization of Salesforce features and capabilities, with emphasis on identifying and delivering the best optimized usage for EMEA Salesforce users.


Sr. Salesforce Administrator EMEA will be positioned within USA in a remote working environment and may require travel to EMEA as needed.


  • Maintain and enhance sales force automation systems and processes to effectively monitor and manage revenue/expenses/forecasting and reporting.

  • Provide strategic guidance to sales stakeholders, process owners, and IT for Sales Enablement initiatives, tools and enhancements that help the organization achieve its goals.

  • Engage in business stakeholder requirements gathering sessions to understand, interpret and translate requirements into an effective technical Salesforce solution

  • Provides direction to developers and cross-functional teams regarding requirements and testing results to ensure tools and solutions are fully functional and approved prior to release.

  • Participates in analysis of outside vendors and sales tools and implements new tools and improvements to existing tools.

  • Customize CRM for business units (custom objects, page layouts, record types, fields, field dependencies)

  • Customize and maintain NEC’s Salesforce security model (e.g. profiles, permission sets, role hierarchy, OWD, etc.)

  • Support users with the Salesforce how-tos and training needs, as well as provide level 1 support for any business/technical needs

  • Create and manage reports and dashboards based on business needs

  • Create and maintain process automation, approval processes, and validation rules

  • Perform data loading and merging / processing of duplicate records

  • Assist in analyzing current business process and suggest improvements with focus on EMEA region

  • Monitor user adoption rates and respond as needed (e.g., additional training sessions, communication, system modifications, etc.)

  • Identify Salesforce usage problems and craft technical/communication plans to remedy

  • Managing user setup and running on-screen training sessions

  • Develop best practices, tips, tricks, and process guides for users




  • Minimum 3 to 6 years of experience as a Administrator and active certifications in following, required:

    • Certified Administrator

    • Certified Sales Cloud Consultant

  • Additional experience and active certifications in following, preferred:

    • Certified Experience Cloud Consultant

    • Certified Service Cloud Consultant

    • Certified Revenue Cloud Consultant

    • Certified Advanced Administrator


Specialized Knowledge and Skills

  • Language Skills: Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels of management required. Ability to communicate in Dutch a plus (speak, listen, read, and write)
  • Mathematical Skills: Excellent spreadsheet skills, including the use of formulas to compute basic business calculations such as gross profit, discounted sales, etc.
  • Reasoning Skills: Ability to analyze and improve job practices. Excellent understanding of database functions and personal computer applications. Excellent organizational skills to facilitate job duties.
  • Computer and/or Technical Skills: Familiarity with databases and sales software such as SQL, Salesforce CRM/PRM and PowerBI preferred. Excellent understanding of Microsoft Office applications include Excel, Word and PowerPoint required.
