Summary 

Bring your marketing expertise to a team who is making a difference for organizations looking to improve how they operate and communicate. Work directly with the VP of Sales and his sales support team to increase awareness and generate sales opportunities by proposing and delivering fast moving omni-channeled marketing programs and collateral material.  Prior experience in the technology field a plus but willing to train the right marketing professional.

Looking for a creative strategic thinking individual able to see and act on opportunities, write engaging copy, manage multi touch campaigns while being recognized as the go to leader for NEC Direct Marketing. Someone who understands and enjoys the creative process that is marketing but can roll up their sleeves and implement with a hands-on approach. This role is critical to the growth of NEC in North America and as a result compensation reflects our commitment to this leadership position.

The candidate will ultimately be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing and sales promotion plans designed to build awareness and demand for NEC’s next generation Cloud and Carrier based services. These solutions represent NEC’s latest innovation in UCaaS, Telecommunications and Carrier Services and are critical to the success of NEC in the future. As a result, this position has high visibility across NEC’s senior management. 

 

Essential Responsibilities:

  • 50% - Responsible for NECAM Enterprise marketing by developing and implementing multi-tiered marketing and sales promotion activities and campaigns in the areas of cloud and carrier services, including but not limited to outreach campaigns, case studies, blogs, social media posting, presentations, video and animation, etc.

  • 20% - Collaborate with sales personnel and marketing colleagues to identify and create sales tools across multiple touchpoints in support of sales activities and lead generation

  • 10% - Identify and create support and collateral material to strengthen and promote key messaging and value propositions

  • 10% - Work with third-party agencies to craft and perfect support materials

  • 10% - Research marketing best practices and competitor initiatives to identify marketing opportunities and potential underserved areas that could be developed

 

Requirements:

  • 6+ years advanced and professional level marketing experience

  • Project development and management skills with proven end-to-end ownership and delivery of marketing programs

  • Self-starter with a desire to achieve and contribute

  • Excellent communications and presentations skills

  • An ability to positively influence others

  • Experience with marketing automation platforms

  • Proven ability to analyze and drive results

  • Knowledge of cloud and telephony services a plus

  • Portfolio demonstrating core capabilities required

 

Specialized Knowledge and Skills -

  • Language Skills: Extensive written and verbal communication, proof-reading and presentation skills required.

  • Mathematical Skills: Basic math.

  • Reasoning Skills: Clear communicator who can convey value and positively influence situations and outcomes. A life-time learner who finds enjoyment in being and staying relevant. Strong interpersonal skills and a team player.  Able to make decisions and use discretion when necessary.  Enjoys being creative and being challenged with new ideas and approaches.

  • General Work Environment: Remote position or in one of NEC offices if preferred
