NEC’s HyperConverged Solutions portfolio represents the latest innovation in NEC’s 122-year history as a provider of global UC and Telecommunications solutions.  These solutions transform how Enterprise customers engage, manage, and optimize their voice and data infrastructure while providing a cost-effective path to the UC cloud.  From providing visibility and control into the carrier space to reducing network costs by more than 30%, NEC’s HyperConverged platform is a disruptive suite of services that will transform the Enterprise communications space for years to come.


In this role you will be recognized as the leader responsible for everything HyperConverged.  From expanding the portfolio to managing customer and partner contracts, you will need a wide range of business skills and experience assuring go-to-market success.  You will also need Alliance management experience as you will be responsible for our partner ecosystem supporting the new platform.  You will also be called on to support presales activity, making customer presentations and serving as the subject matter expert. As a result, you will need experience with Carrier Services, Network Architecture and PBX solutions.  You will also manage all facets of the business relationship and company resources required to exceed revenue objectives and maximize customer satisfaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities -

25% Provide Operational Support for the HyperConverged platform of solutions to include partner and customer facing contracts, development of sales tools, go-to-market activities, and interfacing with marketing and technical support in order to meet and exceed revenue and profit targets.  Execute and implement new plans to support back office operation for process and tools for quoting, selling and deploying HyperConverged Solutions. 

25% Pre-Sales activities include supporting customer presentations as recognized SME.  Review and support all solutions pricing proposals, promotions & discount structures.  Assure solutions feature enhancements and technical documentation reflect customer requirements.  Review all technical input to all customer communications, solutions notices, plans and policies, sales collateral, sales program and solutions lifecycles. 

25% Alliance Management responsibilities include developing strategic plans and objectives with key partners while expanding the ecosystem as needed.  Strategic Alliance Management is critical to the success of this role.

25% Provide regular updates and reporting on the Hyperconverged suite of solutions in support of sales reviews, executive meetings and monthly financial updates.  Communicate solutions status, key issues, and launch plans with key constituents across the organization.


Prerequisites -

Education: Bachelor’s degree.  Advanced degree preferred.

Experience: Ten plus year experience in Solutions development/Solutions management.


Specialized Knowledge and Skills –

Excellent communication & leadership skills

Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, analyst journals, as well as governmental (including SOX) regulations.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as discounting, profitability, probability and statistical inference, and well as finance accounting.  Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Skills: High degree of competency with project management throughput. Flawless organizational skills. A sense of humor; ability to connect with and develop great relationships with team members and business partners. A high degree of technical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

Computer and/or Technical Skills: Visio skills encouraged
