Sales Engineer
Focus on network engineering and be responsible for sales engineering responsibilities for NEC’s Latin America Support Center.
Prepare and conduct sales presentations and technical/sales training seminars for Latin American Associate and Customer.
Provide configurations, pricing, and information of NEC PBX/Switches and all associated peripheral equipment for various vertical applications as requested by Account Manager and Associates; and complete the technical section of RFPs/RFQs as well as provide direction and assistance to Associates in responding to all technical requests included in major bid specifications.
Respond to Associates’ inquiries regarding existing and new product features, specifications, and configurations. Work with various Product Managers to develop and prepare comprehensive audio/visual sales collateral in English and Spanish.
Provide technical analysis of competitive products with comprehensive comparisons to NEC products to provide necessary support to sales professionals in Latin America. Conduct business in Latin America and assist Associates in sales efforts, such as customer presentations, trade shows, and seminars, working under moderate supervision.

Min. requirements incl: Bachelor’s degree in Eng., Bus. Admin., or MIS & 1 yr relevant prof exp, including 1 yr exp in PBX telephony, including IP, TDM and hybrid communications; Unified Communications enterprise applications; Collaboration enterprise applications; Contact Center enterprise applications; Unified Messaging and voice mail enterprise applications; Fault Tolerant servers; hyperconverged infrastructure; backup storage servers; cloud base services (UCaaS, CCaaS); software development for HTML & CSS, C++, & Visual Basic; multilanguage application software development (English, Spanish, and Portuguese); and supporting Latin America based business partners in English and Spanish. Ability to read, write, and speak in Spanish at the business level.
