The position provides an opportunity for either a salesperson who is looking for the next level of professional sales to be groomed for success or a senior salesperson who has established track record of successfully selling enterprise technology to state government agencies.  You must manage all facets of the business relationship and marshalling the Company resources necessary to achieve a high degree of customer satisfaction.


You must have experience selling enterprise-based software and technology into state and local government agencies, specifically Health and Human Service and:


  • Calling and selling to C Level decision makers
  • Excel at Relationship building
  • Have a clear understanding of government procurement process because of the sophisticated nature of our technology
  • Be comfortable with long procurement process
  • Experience selling a high ticket solution
  • Understand workflow processes from the time applicants applies for benefits to the time they receive and start using them - then through to reimbursement of providers (hospitals, etc) by the State agency
  • Public Safety experience is a plus
  • You must have prior on target earnings of $175,000 for a more junior salesperson and $205,000 for a more senior salesperson
  • Able to create solution vision with customers, get them to make projects a priority, find funding and take it through to procurement
  • Previous contacts in State Health and Human Services would be a bonus
  • Understanding of biometric technology such as Facial Recognition, Fingerprint, Iris, etc., would be a plus


We offer an attractive compensation package comprised of a healthy base salary plus sales incentive.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities -

75% Performs sales activities for an assigned geographic area or product/service line to achieve or exceed assigned revenue objectives.

 - Contacts and visits prospective customers to determine needs.

 - Creates and performs sales presentations to match company's products/services with identified needs.

 - Sells products/services through face-to-face contact.

 - Remains knowledgeable of company's products/services to facilitate sales efforts.

 - Maintains sales records and prepares sales reports as required.

 - Responsible for extremely complex and difficult to close sales.


25% Maintains regular contact with customers to ensure satisfaction.

 - Maintains a regular schedule of contact via phone/on-site visits.

 - Alerts client to new or improved products/services.

 - Develops and maintains relationships with clients

 - Relays client feedback to product development staff.

Prerequisites and Requirements:


Bachelor's degree or advanced degree 


Track record of 3-5 years consecutive years of attaining quota.

You must be willing and able to travel 60 to 80% of the time



75% - Perform new prospect sales activities for an assigned geographic area or product /service line to achieve or exceed assigned revenue objectives. 


25% - Maintains regular contact with existing customers to ensure satisfaction and grow existing customer base.
